Read a subreddit's top posts

Three jobs for the top posts read, each with the call that does it

Each call costs $0.001 per call and needs reddit:signals:read. See Reddit top posts.

See what reaches the top 10%

curl -s "https://app.makesmores.com/api/v1/top-posts?subreddit=running" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SMORE_API_KEY" \
| jq '{base_rate, shape, formats: [.formats[] | select(.lift > 1) | {label, rate, lift}]}'

formats with a lift above 1 reach the top 10% more often than the subreddit's average post.

Check the rules before you draft

ai_policy.status is banned, possible_ban, no_rule_found or unknown. For possible_ban, show the person rule_untrusted and draft only once they confirm the rules allow AI-written posts.

curl -s "https://app.makesmores.com/api/v1/top-posts?subreddit=running" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SMORE_API_KEY" \
| jq '{ai_policy, rules: .rules_untrusted}'

Get a plan to start from

curl -s "https://app.makesmores.com/api/v1/top-posts?subreddit=running" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SMORE_API_KEY" \
| jq '{plan_hints, example_plan}'

Swap the example's facts for your own and send it to the Reddit writers.
