What changed in the S'more API and these docs

The console and credits open at app.makesmores.com/app/console.

  • Credits for API and MCP use: writers bill per token, scorers per item, every other call 1 credit. Personal workspaces get a free monthly allowance, and owners can buy credits in packs. See Credits.
  • GET /api/v1/models, public, with every model's price, scope, limits and status.
  • GET /api/v1/credits and the MCP tool smore_get_credits, with credits_enforced to show whether charging has started. Calls are recorded but not charged until it has.
  • 402 credits_required when credits run out, with reason balance or key_cap, and the X-Credits-Charged and X-Credits-Balance headers.
  • Optional monthly credit caps on keys. A member's new key is capped at the free monthly allowance.
  • X writers on the drafts resource: x-writer-v1 (platform: "x", type: "post") and x-reply-v1 (type: "reply"), with the MCP tools smore_draft_x_post and smore_draft_x_reply.
  • X Viral Score answers with the public slug x-viral-v1 in model.
  • Repository scans (firewatch-1) in beta: POST /api/v1/scans, the scan tools smore_start_repo_scan and smore_get_repo_scan, and share links for reports from the console, opening workspace by workspace.
  • New scopes scans:read and scans:write, for 46 in all.
  • Listed as coming soon: the Reddit reply writer (ember-reply-v1, which answers 400 draft_type_coming_soon for now), Decisions (decide-v1) and Web search.
